Classic 1, 2, and 3

The Sansin Classic water-based formula will keep logs and big timbers beautiful for literally decades. This three-coat penetrating formula both enhances the natural beauty of the wood as well as allows the wood to breath. This is critical for a log home because the sheer size of the wood demands a coating that doesn't seal moisture in.

💡 Classic is typically a three-step system but can be applied in a number of different combinations in order to achieve your desired look and colour. Please consult with a Randall's specialist if this is your first time using this product.

Classic 1: This is the first coat in the Classic system when natural wood tones or translucent colours are desired. This product calls for 100% of the colour formula.

Classic 2: This is the intermediate coat in the Classic system for natural wood tones and translucent colours, or the first and second coat for saturated or ultra saturated colours. This product calls for 100% to 50% of the colour formula.

Classic 3. This is the final coat of the Classic system and calls for 25% of the colour formula. It is also used as the maintenance coat which can be applied every few years.
