Seal Grip Interior/Exterior Alkyd Primer

PPG's Seal Grip Alkyd Universal Primer can be used on new or over previously coated interior or exterior wood. Since it’s oil-based, it will seal in water, smoke, and tannin stains preventing them from bleeding through to the top coat. For severe stains, two coats of primer may be needed. A gallon of Seal Grip Alkyd can cover up to 400 square feet and can be re-coated in 4-6 hours.

We recommend Seal Grip Alkyd for priming exterior cedar shingles and redwood clapboards.
